When it comes down to the colour of your kitchen it’s completely up to you. Here at Alresford Interiors we can provide any colour for our clients with a colour matching service available. For example, if you have a favourite Farrow & Ball paint colour, we can duplicate that in our own furniture paint (it’s a more durable formula than the off the shelf paints).

A lot of our customers tend to steer towards the more neutral side of the colour wheel, but we have also done some fabulous bolder coloured kitchens.

Incorporating colour into your kitchen can really brighten up the room and give it a personal feel. We have built accent units for lots of our clients such as boldly coloured islands, which adds dimension to a room. Your bespoke kitchen should represent you as an individual and should be what you want.

Neutral coloured kitchens can look fresh and are most popular. This gives you the complete freedom to add any other touches, such as bright flowers and accessories. Lighter kitchens also work really well to make the room appear larger.  Greys are very popular colours for household interiors at the moment, spicing up a neutral room from being just white.

Wood finish kitchens are also a popular timeless choice; they look stunning and make a statement.

Rich dark coloured kitchens such work well with either light or darker colours and woods, they add a touch of sophistication and luxury to a room. However, they are less popular currently and they do tend to close up a room, making it appear smaller.

At the end of the day choosing the colour of your kitchen is entirely your choice, we are happy to advise and display samples to make the decision easier.  If you would like to see some more examples of the kitchens and furniture we have built, please don’t hesitate to check out our gallery on our website.
